Friday Sep 20, 2019
Friday Sep 20, 2019
Hi folks, it's been awhile since I've wrapped up my trip but I had one more interview I felt like sharing! I was lucky enough to sit down with Dr. Issac Felemovicius. Dr. "Fele" as most people call him is one of the smartest and most well rounded people I have ever had the pleasure of sitting down with. We talk how food affects our health, as well as his background in food. I finish up the episode by reflecting on my trip, which given the fact that it has been a month since my return, was very refreshing. I hope you guys enjoy!

She took me around the forrest for a few hours to go hunting and was able to share a ton of insight on the industry. Hope you enjoy!

Episode:04 Lummi Island
Friday Aug 02, 2019
Friday Aug 02, 2019
On this weeks episode I sat down with Riley Starks, who is truly a jack of all trades. He lives full time on beautiful Lummi Island, which is a part of the San Juan chain in northern Washington. He is the founder of the Willow's inn, which is consistently ranked a top 5 restaurant in America. However his passion now lies in sustainable fishing, and practicing extremely high quality farming. A few years back he started a non-profit which is dedicated to classifying seafood in the area as to protect its quality. After staying a night on the Island I was fully convinced in his mission. You can learn more about Riley and his non-profit at www.lummiislandwild.com.

Today I recap my drive so far, explain where i'm heading next, and was able to sit down with farmer John Gross in Half Moon Bay, California. John was a really impressive kid and has a bright future ahead of him. If you're unfamiliar with how small farms operate this is a quick way to get a glimpse into what it takes to run a farm and how they fit in today's economy. Hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone, I'm happy to announce the very first episode of "A Man in a Van". On today's episode I introduce myself, talk about what I'm doing and more. I was fortunate enough to sit down and talk with a good friend of mine, Dave Vega who along with his parter Gale run East Ave Cafe in my hometown of Larchmont, NY. I also talked for a bit with one of my best friends Jack, and his buddy McCoy about transitioning into LA full time. Keep up with my twitter @JoshBrooker5 and my Instagram @josh.brooker97 for updates and more content.
